Fixing motorcoaches runs in Amos' blood. His late father had a lifelong career in repairing GMC and Eagle motorcoaches. Amos was an owner of a fleet of Precost, GMC, and Eagle motorcoaches for 17-years. Amos' education includes a 1-year program at Chrysler Training Corporation/MoTech Automotice Education Center, as well as many programs for Prevost, Van Hool, MCI and Eagle brands. Amos has also attended specialized courses on motorcoach air conditioning and electrical systems. Amos was chosen to write a series of technical articles for National Bus Trader Magazine.

I would like to let your members know of an outstanding coach repair facility here in SW Florida. When Hurricane Charley hit us on Friday the 13th of August 2004, we suffered not only damage to our home but to our 38' Class A coach. It was stored at Charlotte RV Storage here in Punta Gorda and the owner, Bill Robinson, was kind enough to take it up the road some 8 miles to Charlotte RV Service even though there were broken front windshields and external body damage (awnings, electric steps, etc). The damages totaled nearly $25K but Amos Slater, the owner and President of Charlotte RV Service renovated the coach better than it was before the hurricane hit it. Amos worked with our insurance company and did a most commendable job to say the least. Amos' operation is a full service center including a state of the art paint facility (56' long). The company is ISO-9000 certified and their workmanship proves this accreditation.
